If a managed service provider only looks after your Microsoft 365, I build alongside them. If an MSP or Microsoft partner is already doing Power Platform or automation work for you, it is not for you. Priced flat before I start, source and credentials handed over at the end.
A single app or automation is $4,000 to $8,000, a legacy migration $8,000 to $18,000. AI set up safely is scoped and priced on the free call.

If your firm already has a managed service provider or a Microsoft partner doing this kind of work, this is not for you, and I will say so on the first call rather than waste your time. I do not compete with an incumbent. For a firm your size, one person who builds the thing and stays reachable after it ships is the better deal than a bench of consultants behind an account manager.

No. The whole engagement runs over video call and screen-share, including the fortnightly demos and the recorded handover. There is no in-person requirement, whether you are in Christchurch or anywhere else in New Zealand.
It depends what they do. If they manage your Microsoft 365 and keep things running, and you want one specific tool built inside it, yes, I build alongside them and hand over documentation they can maintain. If they are a Microsoft partner already doing Power Platform or automation work for you, no, I will not step on that.
