The short version: Power Pages is priced per site, not per person. One authenticated pack is NZ$323.60 a month for 100 logged-in users and one anonymous pack is NZ$121.30 for 500 visitors, both paid yearly. For 50 or 100 logged-in users that is the same NZ$323.60 a month; for 500 it is five packs at NZ$1,618 a month. Under about ten client logins there is a cheaper way, and a brochure site should stay on a normal web host.

The pattern: fifty users cost the same as a hundred, because the pack is the unit, so a portal for 60 clients is priced as 100. A site that mixes both, logged-in clients plus a public booking page, needs one of each pack. These totals are the site fee only. When I would say no
- Fewer than ten client logins. Share the internal Power App with clients as guests: NZ$32.40 a month each, so ten guests is NZ$324, level with one site. Below that, guests are cheaper.
- A brochure site with a contact form. NZ$121.30 a month for what a NZ host does for a fraction of that, with better design tools.
- Clients who only read. A SharePoint library shared externally costs nothing on top of Microsoft 365.
- A form that ends in an email. Microsoft Forms and a flow.
- Seasonal use. Pay-as-you-go bills only the users who turn up in a month, but it needs an Azure subscription and is priced in USD.

Does the Power Pages price include Dataverse?
It includes a small amount of capacity: 2 GB of database and 16 GB of file capacity with the authenticated plan, 0.5 GB and 4 GB with the anonymous plan. Extra database capacity is NZ$64.70 per GB per month, and most firms under 20 staff never need it.
Is there a free trial of Power Pages?
Yes. Microsoft offers a 30-day trial, which is enough to build a portal and show it to two clients before paying anything.
Is there a cheaper option than Power Pages for a client portal?
