I am an AI consultant for owner-run NZ firms with under 20 staff: accountants, lawyers, engineering and other consultancies first, trades welcome too. I get emails answered the same day, quotes and reports drafted for you to check, and client documents chased without anyone retyping, and I set your staff up to use AI with clear rules for client data. The next step is a free 30-minute call, where the work is scoped and priced.
Scoped and priced on the free call, as a fixed price agreed before I start.
Most owners do not care which tool does the work. They want the problem gone. These are the ones I am asked about most.
Enquiries and client emails get a drafted reply waiting for you to check and send. Nothing sends on its own: the AI drafts, you approve.
The first draft of a quote, a report or a meeting summary is done before you sit down, so your time goes on checking it, not typing it.
Small tools built inside the software you already use read incoming documents, pull out the details and chase what is missing. See what an AI agent costs to run in NZ before you decide on one.
I put the right licence in place, write one page of clear rules for client data, and train your team hands-on using your own email and documents, then build your first three use cases. Worth reading first: what the paid plans cost and whether they pay and what the tool can see in your files.
AI set up safely is scoped and priced on the free call. The price is fixed and agreed before I start. There is no hourly drip and no open-ended retainer. The full list of what I offer and how pricing works is on the services page.
Everything runs remotely over video.
Which tool does the work is my call, not yours: I pick the right one for your firm and say why. Trades owners can start with this plain guide for tradies. Based in Christchurch? There is a Christchurch page.
You can buy a subscription today and many firms do. The licence is the easy part. What goes wrong is the set-up around it: the wrong plan for client data, no rules for staff, and nobody trained past the first week. That is what I fix. If a subscription is all your firm needs, I will tell you so on the free call.
It can be, if the licence and the rules are right. I check which plan keeps your data out of model training, what each tool can see in your files, and write a one-page staff policy covering what can and cannot be pasted in. Nothing sends or books on its own: the AI drafts, you approve.
It depends on where your work lives. A firm on Microsoft 365 often suits Copilot. A firm that mostly works outside Microsoft may suit ChatGPT or Gemini better. I pick the right one for your firm and say why, rather than defaulting to one vendor.
Getting AI set up safely is a two to three week engagement. A small tool built inside software you already use takes longer, depending on the job. Both are scoped on the free call, so you know the timeline before you commit.

Trades are welcome. Most of my AI work so far suits professional services firms such as accountants, lawyers and engineering consultancies, but quoting, job notes and customer emails are good first jobs for a trades business too.
