The short version: Tradify has three tiers in NZ: Lite at $48 a user a month, Pro at $52 and Plus at $62, all ex GST, checked on their NZ pricing page in August 2026. Quoting, scheduling, invoicing and Xero sync are in every tier. What pushes people up a tier is timesheets and progress invoicing, and what pushes the bill up is head count, because everyone who logs in is a paid seat.

The three tiers, and what each adds
Tradify's tiers stack. Every plan has the core: job management, scheduling, quoting and invoicing, pricing and markups, online payments and accounting sync. The next two tiers add layers on top.

Add-ons sit outside the tiers: an Instant Website at $19 a month, and text messages at 20 cents each. The texts matter more than they look, because quote reminders by text are one of the few automations that measurably chase money for you.
Per-user is the whole pricing model
There is no base fee and no crew band. The bill is the tier price times the number of people using it, which makes the maths easy and the growth curve steep. A five-person crew on Lite pays $240 a month, which is $2,880 a year ex GST before a single add-on.
That linearity is fine at three or four people and starts pinching near ten. At nine users on Lite you're at $432 a month, which is more than double what a crew-band tool charges for the same head count, and that comparison is worked through in the NextMinute pricing post.
Which tier fits
Lite is complete for a crew that quotes, schedules, invoices and syncs to Xero. If no one fills in timesheets and you bill jobs in one hit, staying on Lite is paying for exactly what you use.
The Pro jump earns its $4 the day you have staged jobs or wage runs built on recorded hours. Progress invoicing on a staged bathroom job stops you carrying the whole build cost to the final bill, and timesheets end the Sunday-night text asking who worked where.
Plus is an admin tier. Purchase orders, bulk invoicing and bill scanning matter when the paperwork volume itself is the problem. Where the money goes wrong
The expensive mistake is carrying per-user pricing past the crew size where it stops being cheap. Every hire adds $48 to $62 a month forever. The other one is buying a whole tier for one feature. If the only Plus feature you want is purchase orders, that's a $120-a-year-per-person decision, and it deserves five minutes with a calculator.

No free tier. There is a 14-day free trial with full feature access, which is enough time to run a real week of jobs through it and see whether the crew takes to it.
